“The Aggies never lose (though they may run out of time)”
In the spirit of E. King Gill, Aggies stand ready for service, desiring to support their team.
The massive 55-foot tall Bonfire has symbolized the Aggies’ burning desire to beat “t.u.” in the annual football game. Following the 1999 tragedy this event is no longer sponsored by TAMU and is not a student-sponsored event.
At midnight before each home football game, Aggies gather to pump up the Twelfth Man for the next day’s big game.
Selected by the student body, these five Aggies are the “Keepers of the Spirit” of Aggieland.
The Twelfth Man makes a difference for their team fighting on the gridiron.
Seniors welcome their team back onto the field after half-time.
